

FILM SYNOPSIS
An Ultra-Marathon Runner races 50 miles through the picturesque desert and forest landscapes of California.
Brittany Poor, a southern California Ultra-Marathon Runner undertakes a 50 mile endurance run that takes her from the forest to the desert. Along the way she battles runners as they compete in unforgiving conditions. As the miles unfold so does Brittany’s story of Ultra Running, how it’s supported her sobriety, and the places she goes mentally while traversing such long distances.

BIO
Lily Ride is a filmmaker from San Diego, CA. She holds a Bachelor's Degree from University of Maryland in Cinema and Media studies. Her debut documentary film was Hot Jazz Saturday Night (2022)
Lily Ride also works as a Photo and Video Journalist, with works appearing in news publications internationally.
Lily enjoys making films about the outdoors and nature, showcasing the environments she feels most at home in.
