Zora Iman Crews is a New York based actress, writer and filmmaker born in Atlanta, Georgia. She performed in classical works such as The Bacchae at La Mama ETC, Antigone at the Alchemical Theatre Laboratory and Richard III at Shakespeare’s Globe.

 

She co-wrote, co-directed and starred in The Daphne Project (2021), which enjoyed a successful festival run. She was featured on the Amazon Prime series Harlem and lent her voice to the Audible original scripted podcast Very Unbecoming. She is a proud graduate of LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts where she majored in Drama. She received her BA in Acting at Syracuse University and earned an MFA in Writing at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn.
