Ben seems to have a perfect life in Haiti. He lives in a beautiful home overlooking the Caribbean and trains Haitian teachers in Creole a a school just a quick walk away. Ben loves the solitude and peace that he finds in this remote rural village. Yet, when he returns home to Wisconsin to visit his family, he struggles with his identity and asks himself: "what am I doing with my life?"

    Based in Brooklyn, Zack Baddorf an award-winning multimedia (video/radio/print/photo/web) journalist with more than a decade of experience in more than 30 countries, including Syria, Ukraine, Afghanistan, Pakistan, the West Bank, Kashmir, and Iraq, as well as rebel-held territory in Sri Lanka and Burma. He has reported for Al Jazeera English, VICE, NPR, BBC, CBS, AP, the Wall Street Journal, Seattle Times, and other international publications.

    Baddorf teaches at the New York Film Academy and at New York University as an adjunct professor. He has a master's in international relations, a master’s in public relations and a bachelor's in journalism. He is studying for another master’s in documentary studies.
