    Beyond Distance

Beyond Distance is a personal portrait of Ana, a young mother that was forced to flee Honduras, and immigrate to the United States after facing death threats from the same gang members that killed the father of her child. In present day, Ana works to support her children in the U.S while maintaining a close connection with her two physically disabled siblings she left behind. Through Anna’s daily routine and images of Honduras the film examines the psychological struggle an immigrant experiences not being able to return home and not being accepted in the current location.
